Heritage Cookbook
Does anyone know what the value of these cookbooks might be?
I have a full set of Southern Living’s “Southern Heritage” cookbooks that I no longer use, and I want to find a new home for them. I live out in the sticks and the closest used book store to me is 50 miles away, and they’re open only on Fridays. Is there a way to find the value of the books aside from driving them there and letting them evaluate the books? I’d hate to waste all the time and gas for them to tell me that the whole set isn’t worth anything. Any advice/ideas?
Go to amazon.com and pretend like you’re a seller. (Or don’t pretend, sell them there!) You can see what used books are going for. You just type in the ISBN number and pick the condition of the book, and it’ll tell you what other people are selling theirs for. I’ve sold many books through amazon that way. It’s a nice way to make a little money on the side.
